After moving to IOS 13, shift key on external keyboard not working

I figured out how to key but it is not convenient at all
You have to do it again and again...
ios13 please fix, Whatsapp is my 80% screentime...
Interestingly, as I type this reply using my Logitech Bluetooth MK-850 keyboard I realise that the Shift key is indeed working.
I suspect that issue now of Shift key not working is only with some applications like WhatsApp that has this issue with the Shift key.
Now I don’t know if its a problem with iOS 13.1 or WhatsApp’s integration onto the new iOS. Any suggestions anyone?
I have the same exact problem with you kothama. As you mentioned shift key is normal when i don’t use whatsapp. Other apps like i-message, safari etc. shift key is working.
I think there is a problem on whatsapp.
No suggestions, but I have the same issue. I also use the MK-850, and I also detected only happens with Whatsapp.
Lets hope there is a new update either in the iOS or the Whatsapp app.

Thank you for your message. I have replaced the external keyboard with a brand new one. The shift key still does not work.
Just contacted Apple Support and they said a fix is on the way for this problem. If you can't wait, uninstall IOS 13.
Whilst it’s great that the issue has been noted and a solution being worked, does anyone here know when might be?
The issue was fixed by update (IOS 13) this last Friday.
Please inform by which update this problem will be solved. IOS 13.1.3 doesn't fix this problem!
I’m having the same issue with two physical bluetooth keyboards, a Logitech K480 and a 1byone. But only when I type in Whatsapp, so I think it’s a Whatsapp issue.
