My monthly challenges have disappeared from the Activity app

So question now is - to I bother to try and complete my monthly challenge today in the hope that Apple fix this? Decisions decisions.

My best guess is we all just get new monthly challenges tomorrow as normal, it starts recording them from that point on, but all other 2019 badges before October are gone.

How did our migration not work? All I did was restore my iphone to a fresh start. All of my other information including the most recent data from the day showed back up. The Only thing missing is the monthly challenges and the different exercise badges. If the process of how a phone is migrated is how the badges get transferred then something is definitely wrong. The monthly challenges ever since I started from back in May of 2018 is gone all the way up till now. How did I do anything wrong if they took away not just this month's challenge but all of the monthly challenges. This is definitely an apple problem. I'm sorry I do not believe this is a user error, but rather an apple error.

What I find even more strange is that on my old IPhone 7 Plus all my activity data has been uploaded even since migration date from old phone to new phone and it says I have still hit my monthly challenge and got my badge but it’s not registering any of that on my new IPhone 11.

I’m on the iPhone 11 Pro. I was on the XS Max and I did a fresh install of the 11 Pro. The older phone is reset to factory now so can’t check, but I remember for two days my challenges still showed there

Update: So once downgrading to iOS 12 it will not let me sync to my phone because my watch is on watchOS6. So now I'm back to upgrading to see if anything has changed as far as awards. We shall see. Having doubts now though.

This also happened for me, all my monthly challenge badges came back (as well as my September challenge completed) and my new October challenge given to me, I am over the moon with this, hope this is the same for everyone else!!

I keep losing more and more badges. Now all of my specialty badges are gone as well as all of my workout categories badges. I’m so disappointed in Apple on this issue. Yes I’m waiting to see what happens at midnight but is this really necessary?

So all of my badges came back too! Save for the one for last month, as it disappeared from view on the 20th Sept and I was unable to see progress (it was a tough challenge) so clearly I failed to achieve it.

Still a better result than I expected so there we go!

Oh ugh noooo! It’s always a panic when I get a new watch or phone. I’m waiting for my iPhone 11pro to arrive and suddenly I’ve lost 9 months yes 9 months of activity data. I was as a almost 1,300 move streak and it’s dropped to 958. Hubby rolled his eyes but this is important stuff to me. I have every single special award except the one from China. The weekly awards are on the correct day but the circles aren’t filled in for an entire section of 9 months. The awards are still there so far which is puzzling. Hey Apple I’ve been known to run laps in airports, found gyms that I can’t believe I’ve actually gone into to accomplish this. Please help us.

Hope this all works out. Hang in there everyone and keep circling those rings. Last time there was a glitch it took months to get Apple to correct it.

I don’t really know the answer I went through so many restores trying to get stuff back I finally gave up and accepted what they gave me. This is the most frustrated I’ve ever been with an Apple product and update. For something they use to promote a product like the badges and closing rings I think they should do a better job of making sure the stuff syncs over many scenarios. I will say that finally things some things showed up after a bit. But I still lost a bunch.

restored the iPhone to factory settings and waited until all is loaded on the phone again from iCloud.

all medals and badges were complete. Then after an hour or so the special medals were gone. away. Like they would have been never here before.

several restarts of the phone doesn’t solve the issue.

i guess, it’s the right moment to replace this watch by another non-Apple smartwatch.

Same goes for me. Just upgraded to iPhone 11 and a few of my special awards are there but only 2 of my monthly challenges and this month disappeared. Very disappointing that Apple can’t figure this out.

They don’t show up on my watch anymore. They were until Apple did troubleshooting. Then they disappeared there too. Actually, after the troubleshooting no awards show as completed on my watch.

All my awards, including perfect months are there correctly on phone and watch.... the challenges are the only ones missing. Again missing from phone and watch!
