Messages repeat notifications not working

Not sure if this is a bug with iOS 13 but I also recently upgraded my phone and watch over this past weekend and I've noticed that repeat notifications are no longer working for me. I've ensured they are set on both devices - watch is mirroring my phone, phone is set to repeat up to 10x (the max). I even tried testing turning it off on my watch, turning the watch completely off and it does not work on my phone. I've restarted both devices as well. I've turned off repeat notifications, restarted my phone and turned them back on, nothing. I only ever get 1 notification. Anyone else running into this issue?

That was me also who is waiting for a response from Apple’s Engineering Team lol, just thought I’d save myself some time waiting for a phone call and go to a Store.

I was wondering though, do you know, are these Replacement iPhones they give you, New or Reconditioned?

yeah i did everything i could last night to try and fix it was on the phone with 4 different people, for 2 hours and nothing they told me worked and i said you dont think its a bug in the software and they disconnected me from the chat.

I have the same problem, and so does my wife. I'm sorry I updated to IOS13, but there is no way back now. I am really annoyed about this because I frequently miss the first message alert and rely on the repeat alert facility to make sure I receive important text messages. I have reported it to Apple, but I don't suppose they'll do anything about it unless they get hundreds of complaints.

Unfortunately its NOT been fixed on 13.2 which hasn't even been released to the public yet.

Someone on here was asked to test 13.2 to see if it fixes the problem, he tried 13.2 and still not fixed.

This could be going on for ages at this rate!

That is GREAT NEWS !

I struggled to get anyone to except that it was a 13 issue this morning!

So -What is the Beta version of 13.2 all about? How does that work and can anyone download that and how?

That would be great if it could be resolved for the users in my business relations cause we depend on that feature with being on equipment and getting needed connections between the crew!!

Yes, unfortunately I’m getting the same issue on my iPhone XR, I’m hoping it’s a Bug and is fixed tomorrow in the IOS 13.1 update.

So far nothing. They are trouble shooting it but nothing has been resolved yet. It is very frustrating

Seems like IOS13.1.1 was released yesterday but still no Repeat Notification Fix!!, I hope they haven’t got rid of this feature all together! :(

Yes, I saw the update this morning and jumped on it to only realize it didn’t fix the one thing I really need fixed 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don’t see them getting rid of it. It’s too useful (at least to us lol).

I can’t believe they disconnected you from the chat?! And that they wouldn’t acknowledge that it’s an issue :(
