Messages repeat notifications not working

Not sure if this is a bug with iOS 13 but I also recently upgraded my phone and watch over this past weekend and I've noticed that repeat notifications are no longer working for me. I've ensured they are set on both devices - watch is mirroring my phone, phone is set to repeat up to 10x (the max). I even tried testing turning it off on my watch, turning the watch completely off and it does not work on my phone. I've restarted both devices as well. I've turned off repeat notifications, restarted my phone and turned them back on, nothing. I only ever get 1 notification. Anyone else running into this issue?

Further to my last post I reported this via an Apple support chat. The agent didn't seem to be aware of the problem but said they will get onto it as soon as possible.

Yes you can’t download it. You just need an apple ID to sign up. This link will walk you through the steps. https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/

Thanks for taking one for the team, going to the store and confirming that it is in fact the iOS. Congrats on the new phone ;) LOL Someone else said that Apple support said that they were going to forward to the engineering team to look into, hopefully there will be a fix in the next update.

Good question about the phone. I’m not sure but I would assume they would have to disclose to you if they gave you a refurbished phone? I would definitely call the store and ask.

IOS 13.1.2 is out now and still the Repeat Alerts Feature doesn’t work!.

Im really hoping there is a Problem/Fault with the new IOS and Apple haven’t stupidly decided to remove this Feature!?.

Ive had the same issue with my iPhone X, and apple also said to either go to Apple Store shop if not get the Engineering dept. If anyone has come up with a solution on how to fix please comment back

As far as I know, there's not a way to fix it outside of Apple fixing the bug in their iOS. They've already forwarded the feedback to their engineering dept.
