Messages repeat notifications not working

If you update to the IOS 13.2 Beta it seems to be fixed. I had the same issue since the IOS 13 update. I tried the Beta 13.2 version last night and tested the repeat notifications and they were working!

Yes, it most certainly did get resolved on 13.2 Beta 3. I know, because I'm on it, and it works for me again.

Craig Federighi confirmed he knows about this feature and a fix is coming to 13.2

Well, Apple will no longer look like the BUTT on this because it's resolved in 13.2 Beta.

Just to make sure I booked a appointment at my local Apple Store today for them to confirm it was a IOS issue.

When I told the guy about the Repeat Notification not working he said it shouldn’t be doing that even on this new IOS 13/13.1 so surprisingly he exchanged my handset for a replacement new 1 and I’ve got home and No! unfortunately the issue is still there so yes I’d say 1000% it’s a IOS issue but I’m happy I’ve got a new phone.

after reading all the comments here sounds like we are stuck waiting for apple to fix this issue.

i have a iphone 7 and iphone X and both are doing it.

looks like every phone is affected on ios 13.

I miss my repeats. I've been missing so many texts. crazy.

I definitely think now that this is an ios issue/bug. This was working just fine on ios12. It was also is settings/messages.

now in ios13 it has been relocated to settings/notifications/messages.

this has to be more wide spread just people don’t use this feature to know.

now after all the comments above and all these updates and still nothing.

i will now call and do the song and dance.

I’m on iOS 13.2 Public Beta (specifically to see for myself if it’s fixed yet) and it’s still not fixed. Super frustrating. This has been working on cell phones for probably close to 20 years, repeat alerts.

I just spent a hour and 10 minutes on phone with apple and they had me talk to 2 different people recheck all settings etc and i told them im not stupid and exactly when it happened and no one seems to be aware of issue but after being very persistent they said they did find 2 complaints on it just in last week in their system reports ---so i told them the google users are making a fool of them on this simple issue and finally the person i talked to last a head supervisor said she now knows hers isn't working also as she just realized hers didn't work over the weekend!! This is really a sad thing for apple to not address such a issue that is making them look like the BUTT on this!!!

I've had the same issue. Apple even had me wipe my phone and restore. Still can't get repeat notification. Really hoping this gets fixed. I don't want to constantly check my phone to see if I missed something

I’ve just updated this evening to IOS13.1 and it seems Repeat Notifications still isn’t working!.

Is this Software fault or Hardware?, I’d happily take it to a Apple store but if it’s happening to a lot of people I’ll leave it and save myself a 40 minute trip.

I contacted Apple today and told them the issue, they then passed me to another person who told me that this shouldn’t be happening and it was the first time she’d herd about this happening.

Shes apparently passed it onto the “Engineering dept” and I have to wait for a call.
