Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

exact same issue on my iphone, uninstalled all suspicious apps, deleted all purchased music, but sign-in request keeps poping up every single time I start up my phone or everytime I reconnect it to wifi/data network. I have no idea where this Apple ID comes from, my device is brand new and had no pevious owner. How can I get rid of that popup ?

Interesting I haven’t had this issue yet.

I erased my watch and started fresh and have had 3 prompts since then but none since 29 Dec. I’m on specialist support with Apple keeping logs and screenshots if they occur again they will be escalating the issue to engineering. I’m hopeful it’s gone but I’ve had weeks of no prompts then them appearing again. Will post with updates when they happen.

I am having this very same issue. After updating to IOS 13.3, I started being prompted on my Apple watch for an unknown Apple ID (mackey_2311@hotmail.com). I click cancel and it appears on my phone.

I also have been in contact with Apple. I have repaired my watch, it has not third party app, no podcasts or music. It was ok for a couple of days, but has since started to happen again.

I'm not sure if Apple knows how to troubleshoot this issue.

Nope. At least for me it has nothing to do with any music or App associated with another Apple ID. I do not have any music locally on my Apple Watch or Iphone. Neither is there an App purchase made with another account.

So far I am sending system diagnosis files pretty regularly to Apples engineering. Lets see if they find something.

Yesterday i installed a new app. When asked to register within the app I chose „apple.com“ as the preferred method. As soon as I have hit this button, the prompt appeared on my watch again. After dismissing it there it popped up (as usual) on my Iphone.
