iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

The just released iOS 13.1.3 update seems to have fixed the connection to the Plantronics Edge headset.

I'm really happy!! 13.1.3 has solved my problems with RR Evoque :) My iPhone 7 is back to normal.

After updating to iOS 13.2 my iPhone 11 Pro Max bluetooth connectivity to my 2017 Toyota Prius is working properly now. Thanks Apple!

Just did a reinit of my iPhone (erase all and then reinstallation of my backup): so far no disconnection which is a good news.

need to evaluate in a longer period.

Make sure you contact Apple who will install two profiles on your device to obtain log reports.

Did you erase the pairing on both your phone and the remote device?

Have you checked with Toyota to see if they have any firmware updates available?

Delete all pairings from both your Lexus and your 11 and try again.

No not delete your Apple Watch connection from iPhone but physically turn it off or have it physically out of range of your vehicle. Whenever I do this I am 90% successful.

An update on my experience. The "Reset All" didn't stick, so I ended up re-imaging the iPhone. That seems to have made a difference - first connection still seems problematic, but after that it's OK.

1) upgrade to iOS 14

2) upgrade to an iPhone 12

That was what it took to correct the issues I had

I just spoke with support again, it's not being reported too much yet - he did notice a few instances of it in his forums, I think people are just thinking it's them.

I would make sure all of you contact support and file a ticket to let them know that this is more wide spread then they beleive. It's on reddit, and other forums as well. I'm just surprised none of the tech blogs have picked up on it yet, as this is a huge issue and is sure to hurt sales.

Just to capture full details for people reading this far. My experience:

• iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.1
• intermittent connection issues and crackling with 2011 Acura TSX
• I deleted all bluetooth profiles on phone and in car. Reset phone and setup as new iPhone. Upgraded to iOS 13.1 then restored from backup
• have reset network settings, all of the typical bluetooth troubleshooting stuff
• Turned off "hey Siri"
• Bluetooth connection with Jabra Elite 65T Active has no issues
• Connection issues in car happening on both public release iOS 13.1 and beta 13.1
• Previous iPhone X running iOS 13.1 beta had no connection issues with car

I have a Genius Bar appointment in 3 hours. Will see what happens.

The Apple CS i chatted with online says i need to try renaming the device after BT pairing.

I haven't tried it yet won't be able to till later today. Anyone try this already?

The technician that called me said the are aware and unsure of the issue right now hence why they are trying to diagnose. Maybe it's elevated internal technical group . I think the key for all of us is to continue to log a ticket with apple to make sure they are aware that the issue is still on going and not resolved. I'll post an update if i find out anything else.

in the meantime, i'm running this profile for 4 days so they can take the data to see what the bluetooth is doing.

That's the correct move; we're just users here and calling Apple Support gets them involved directly.
