iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

New iPhone 11 on iOS 13 is having Bluetooth connectivity issues.

both my daughter and I are having the similar issues.

daughters phone is an 11 64GB Purple.

mine is an 11 128GB White

Hers gets connected to her 2018 Toyota C-HR and constantly drops out. Her iPhone 7 Plus never had any issues.

I have mine connected to a Boss BT module on my motorcycle. Never had any issues with my iPhone X.

neither of our other phones we’re running iOS 13.

I updated to 13.1.2 It looks like "MOST" of my issues have been fixed with this latest update. My 2012 Scion xB stock stereo is now not dropping or getting garbled calls. My iFrogz headphones are now staying connected when paused in Pandora.

The only remaining bug(s) I'm seeing are:

  1. Hey Siri is somewhat spotty. Like the phone isn't hearing me sometimes. Very random.
  2. When placing a call via Hey Siri in my car, the bluetooth connection between my iphone 11 and my scion xB, will connect/disconnect several times before the dialing sound starts. Once the dialing starts, it stays connected.

Same. I still run two iPhones and so I have a “control” group for this little experiment. A 6s for work and an 11 Pro for my personal cell. The 6s works fine and doesn’t disconnect/drop Bluetooth connectivity in the middle of a phone conversation.

Why is my nicer-newer iPhone that’s worth 3-4x the amount of money vastly underperforming the older less valuable one on the simplest of tasks?

(iPhone 11Pro 13.2.2) Also having same problem but with my blood glucose meter. My phone can't find my blood glucose meter under Bluetooth devices. my iPhone 8 had no problems. The phone (11 Pro) found it a few times and said it was connected but it did not have the little "i" next to it in the Bluetooth settings and in the meter's app it was showing as can't be found. Then it just disappeared altogether and will not come back. Tired everything it just will not discover it again. Apple please fix this as my readings go straight to my doctor. I thought upgrading to a better more expensive phone I would not have any problems guess not. I would hate to have to take the phone back and downgrade back to my 8. Please put out another update soon to address this.

So as of today 11/15/19 I am still having the issue. I did a backup - I did a reset and yet I still have the issue. Patrick should be calling me back from support soon. I really hope they can figure this out soon. I talk to my mom every morning and she already has a hard time hearing me so this is so much worse now. She told me to get rid on my new "stupid" phone. lol

This is totally insane that nowhere in these threads has Apple recognised nor offered a solution. I also have had my logs uploaded and expecting a call on the 21st. My 7 day out of box warranty expired today and all I want is Apple to acknowledge that the device is not fit for purpose and refund my money so that I can purchase an iPhone 8 Plus and get my life back

Everyone I talk with who has upgraded to 13 is experiencing similar issues that I am. Scrambled artwork is the least of my issues, although not minimizing that. Freezing emails, contacts and crashing. Not shutting down properly, to the extent that I cannot restart the phone. Connectivity to my car, Bluetooth and tethered issues both.

I have had iPhones since the second one came out. I am about done with Apple. Not because they have issues, everyone has issues, but rather how they are not dealing with or communicating with us about the issues. I’m up for my upgrade next month. Hello Samsung!

I really don’t think it has to do with your radio being old! I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander and I have no issues, but in my husbands 2015 Toyota Tundra, I have issues. This just doesn’t make any sense to me! And he has my old iPhone X and has no problems in either car. I hate the iPhone 11. I wish I would have never upgraded. Apple store said that it’s my car, not the phone, and that’s BS. So over this issue!

This is by far the most annoying glitch I’ve ever experienced with Apple.

i have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I feel like I have some sort of Android.

who ever thought you’d have to wire up your iPhone to all your Bluetooth devices so you can listen to consistent music.

mine glitches and messes up mainly when streaming audio. Although I don’t know if people talking to me are having the same issue. It seems so simple.

when I’m listening to music on an alternate device my headset will randomly disconnect like the phone can’t handle two connections.

mots not like I’ve never done this before Bluetooth has been around for ages.

I am having a similar issue. Bluetooth podcast playback is working ok. However, Bluetooth calls are the worst I have ever experienced. There is a ton of static/distortion on both ends. It seems to come in waves. It will be clear for a few seconds, then static for a few seconds. Very strange, and frustrating. If it doesn’t get patched this will certainly be the first and last iPhone I buy. I am on iPhone 11. Never had this issue with any android phone.
