iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

I am having this exact same problem. Calls are absolutely terrible! Just upgraded to an 11 pro max from an 8 plus and the calls are nothing but static over Bluetooth in my vehicle. Never had any issues with my previous phone. I’m so frustrated with this! Currently on iOS 13.2.3.

using 11 max pro.. Bluetooth still not working even after the recent update 13.2.3... every time I have to pair the phone. with car audio to listen to Apple Music. Doesn’t connect automatically... was working fine with 7plus.

Ever since I got the iPhone 11 my Bluetooth has been disconnecting with my car after 7 mins on the phone. I had no problem with my iPhone 6, and now that upgraded it has been very frustrating to use the Bluetooth feature. What would I do to fix this issue?

I’ve done exactly this, they installed a Bluetooth logging profile, today got a call from my dedicated engineer who says it’s now been escalated up to engineering but again no timescales, so hoping they’ve found some issues.

I have also provided the logs now twice. No resolution. I will have my last call with then next Tuesday and if I do not get a resolution, I will return the phone (third actually, with all of them having the same issue).

A lot of people are complaining that they are returning and exchanging their phones multiple times. How much time do we all have to spend, along with a lot of money, to get one that works? Something is not right. Looks like I will be moving to Android as I do not have the time, or the ability to deal with extreme frustration that is likely to occur. While it’s sad, it is being done in good conscience as it was not I who caused this problem and Apple is not providing the solution for us to experience a positive experience. Kinda like going to Vegas and betting on the roulette table for anyone who buys a new phone.

I will just use my older iPhones until Apple figures out. I tried Android at I really did not like it. The iPhone 11 is an awesome phone that seems to be rushed to the markets. They will figure it out eventually. This is super annoying and unacceptable lack of quality control, but if they want to stay in the markets they will fix it. (crossing my fingers)

I am unable to connect to my 2013 Mini Cooper, although I was able to with my iPhone 6s Plus. I have an open ticket with Apple and have been on the phone with them numerous times. They created a profile and ran diagnostics several times...No solution yet. I expect more from Apple. This is so frustrating!!!

So frustrating! Much happier with my old phone. What a waste of money - Apple please recall this phone! It’s hardly useable for me. It drops in and out not totally disconnecting but making it impossible to carry on a conversation. I’m back to cradling my phone to my ear while my apple branded ear pods sit collecting dust.

Same thing here with iPhone 11 Pro Max and iOS 13.3.

My BMW Z4 cannot find the iPhone.

My headsets Jabra Talk 45 and Plantronics PLY V5200 disconnect (all firmwares are up to date) and reconnect automatically during a conversation which creates blanks and makes hard the other parties to follow.

I did everything (repairing, Bluetooth reset, network reset...) but nothing help.

I seriously doubt this is an issue with the iPhone 11 running Bluetooth 5.0. On the iPad side all of the latest iPads, Pro/Air/Mini, are on Bluetooth 5.0. On the Mac Desktop side the Mac Pro and Mac Mini are on 5.0 with the other desktops still on 4.2. On the laptop side the MacPro Pros are on 5.0 with the MacBook Air still on 4.2. Googling around there is no clear evidence of serious Bluetooth issues on the Bluetooth 5.0 devices mentioned above. Of course the MacOS devices are most likely using completely different chips and OS but you would expect the iPad devices to be running similar BT chips and certainly similar software. And finally the iPhone moved Bluetooth 5.0 on the iPhone 8 which is not affected by the issues reported on this thread.

I should clarify that I am having the same issue still with my Motorola H720 and H730 devices: they disconnect and reconnect every 30 seconds or so. A week or two ago in this thread I reported the problem was gone, but it was a false positive. The problem is still there with my iPhone 11 pro max running iOS 13.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max works absolutely perfectly, with not a single connection drop, in phone and music player modes, with my 2011 Toyota.

However, if you want to sell your 11 and buy something else, that's your right as a consumer.

I’m selling this darn iPhone 11 and going back to iPhone 8. The Bluetooth is a disaster. It can’t connect to any of my multiple items. To frustrate me more recognition doesn’t work in the dark (I need it for my bedroom cause my hubby goes to bed before I do). I miss my fingerprint functions... I should’ve just kept it...The 8 connects to everything in my world/ Acura, headsets, etc. this one is a dud.

Has this been sorted out yet? Been driving around for months not being able to take calls on my cars hands-free, (I drive a toyota prius) Apple told me to update my car ...... helpful.... wonder if they help pay for it? Come on Apple Get this sorted out!!!!!!
