iPhone 11 on iOS 13 having Bluetooth connectivity issues

New iPhone 11 on iOS 13 is having Bluetooth connectivity issues.

both my daughter and I are having the similar issues.

daughters phone is an 11 64GB Purple.

mine is an 11 128GB White

Hers gets connected to her 2018 Toyota C-HR and constantly drops out. Her iPhone 7 Plus never had any issues.

I have mine connected to a Boss BT module on my motorcycle. Never had any issues with my iPhone X.

neither of our other phones we’re running iOS 13.

I updated to 13.1.2 It looks like "MOST" of my issues have been fixed with this latest update. My 2012 Scion xB stock stereo is now not dropping or getting garbled calls. My iFrogz headphones are now staying connected when paused in Pandora.

The only remaining bug(s) I'm seeing are:

  1. Hey Siri is somewhat spotty. Like the phone isn't hearing me sometimes. Very random.
  2. When placing a call via Hey Siri in my car, the bluetooth connection between my iphone 11 and my scion xB, will connect/disconnect several times before the dialing sound starts. Once the dialing starts, it stays connected.

Well...the issue still persists after the reset. I have an appointment at the Apple Store on Friday afternoon. I was told by the Senior Advisor that I was well within the warranty period, and fully entitled to a new phone. I also fully expect to be in an argument at said Apple Store on Friday, with a store rep that refuses to replace the phone...

Well good luck. I bought my iphone 11 4 months ago and have had issues from day 1 and the Apple store said that there is nothing they can do because I can't repeat the issue in the store. I told them the issue is in connecting to my car and lets go out to my car and I will show you. They said it is against their policy. So there is no way to show them the problem, so they did not replace my phone.

So, is the best course of action at this point to demand an exchange for a lower caliber phone, like an iPhone XR? I spoke with Apple this morning, and they are going to call the store and speak to the manager about my case so that hopefully, when I go in on Friday, I don't get a 3 hour run-around and leave with no resolution to my problem.

This is so absurd!!! Fix it Apple!!!

Streamed audio for quite a while in my truck today while driving to and from my son's baseball game. Audio streaming quality was fine, and the phone auto connected once I turned the truck off and then started it back up. Phone also connected to the truck for making calls. Streamed audio in the yard for a while on my AirPods this evening while doing yard work with no issues. We'll see if it continues tomorrow.

Afraid this is a long ongoing problem- lots of us are trying to get to the bottom of this problem. I had a lengthy telephone conversation with a senior Apple tech. Last week but unfortunately still not resolved. Although as my problem is connecting to my cars hands free, I am taking the problem to the garage. Apple have said if the fault is not with my vehicles system compatibility with my IPhone 11 they will investigate further!!

I have this same problem. My iPhone X will not autoconnect to my macbook pro. Both are on the current OSs. The iPhone X is iOS 13.3.1 and the Macbook Pro is on 10.15.3. The problem started occurring recently, within the last month. Autoconnect doesn't work for other bluetooth devices either. Even when I jump through the hoops to manually connect, the automatically disconnect after a few minutes. Only may apple watch seems to stay connected.

My problem is similar. My iPhone 11 Plus and all my Mac computers are running the latest OS versions. My iPhone 11 is able to make a stable Bluetooth connection to my MacBook Pro, but it cannot make a stable connection to my iMac. I've done all the usual stuff (restarting; deleting devices from Bluetooth lists, then attempting to reconnect. Very frustrating!

Yes it is still hands free once connected via USB. My car read it as “Iphone” and I was able to play music/gps hands free. Its weirdly annoying but the BT in my car works fine for phone calls only. It connects immediately which is weird that it will only work for calls, but not for music. I have an Ipod which I’ve thought about connecting via USB, but thats just one more expensive device that I have to remember to connect, disconnect, etc.

This issue is so annoying because IOS 13 sucks!!!

I am have issues of Bose & LG Bluetooth headsets connecting & disconnecting with iPhone 11 Pro Max! 🤬🤬🤬

I find it terribly challenging to manage getting things done in an efficient manner.

Hoping APPLE will FIX!

i realize there other issues than just this one. But, sympathetically can they imagine if they had a testing process that worked intermittently & they had to stop the assembly line or switch it to a different method to get production every day?! My point is IF APPLE CANT HELP PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS then their customers will find another producer that does support them! #demiseofiphone

I have a 2011 Toyota and I have had two 11 Pro Maxes work perfectly with my Bluetooth head end every single time since I bought it (one phone was was swapped for another for other reasons.)

Zero issues with BT phone or as a BT music player.

My 11 Pro Max also worked flawlessly in a 2020 Ford from Hertz that had wired CarPlay.

Currently it also works without issue with a pair of AirPods Pro I picked up about three weeks ago.
