The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error -9956.) (-9956). ISSUES IMPORTING LARGE 4K VIDEO FILES FROM IPHONE TO MACBOOK

Have had major issues importing large 4k 60fps video files with the last 3 generations of iPhone (iPhone 11, iPhone xs, iPhone x.) importing via the "image capture" app to my 2017 and 2019 macbook pro's 15".

It seems like 80% of the time I try to import a file that's over 2GBs I get the error code above. It happens so much it drives me insane. Does anyone know a workaround or a solution?

I've tried multiple resets on both devices, used different cables, and will consistently get the same error message. Then all of a sudden, when I try importing randomly days later when I get enough stamina to try again, it SOMETIMES works!

It seems so random I cannot figure out what the actual issue is or how to solve it for YEARS now! But I do know that the larger the file size 20GBs+ or multiple files totaling over 20GBs, the higher chance of getting the error message.
