iPhone 11 Pro Max won’t charge wirelessly

Follow Up: My issue was resolved after a restart. I also upgraded to 13.2 and wireless charging works fine. Wife's 11 works absolutely fine as well

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 11. It worked fine on my Pixel Stand and then today it no longer works on any Wireless Charger. I updated to 13.1 last night. I tried the Reset All Settings and the Disable Battery Optimization and that doesn't fix it. I believe this is a software issue because I can get it to charge after a reboot but then once it's off, it doesn't work again. I have not tried a factory reset yet but I guess that's the next step.

My I-Phone 11 Pro Max was doing the same thing previously mentioned in the other confessions.

charging. I had my whole squad at work searching for answers. Then after the upgrade finished and

I calmed down it worked with the case on. iOS 13.1.2 saved me a trip to the apple store.

Note there are some third party chargers that won't work because of the configuration of the Qi coil or its placement.

For example, the Logitech POWERED wireless charging stand will not charge the 11 Pro Max in portrait mode if the phone is in a case (even one of Apple's), but it will charge the phone out of the case or in landscape mode.

I know that's not the central issue here, but it's a bit more complex than it would otherwise seem.

I recall at least one other user that had an issue where the Qi pads built into their company's conference room would not charge the iPhone 11 models but would other devices; the solution was to use a different Qi charger.

I got a battery case for iPhone 11 Pro Max and noticed this morning that the case was fully charged, but the phone was on low power mode. I had charged the pair (I thought) on a USB C Cord. I thought something was wrong with the case but it charged on a wireless charger pad. However, the iPhone did not make the connection. Did the upgrade to 13.2 and now everything works as it should. Based on everyone's notes above, I'll withhold judgement for a few days as to whether the fix is permanent. Fingers crossed

Yup, mine charges wirelessly just fine after a restart: press Volume up, followed by press Volume down, long hold on WAKE button. iOS 13.2. Toggles in and out of low power mode, always wireless charging. Yay!

This is repeating what everyone else says, but here's to hoping the engineers at Apple is reading this forum: I have this problem with an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Every now and then it stops wanting to charge from my Qi chargers (I tried different ones). It still charges from the lightning port. But to enable Qi charging again I need to reboot the phone, then it works fine and charges up to 100%. But then maybe a couple days later Qi stops working again and it's the same story over again.

One of the items addressed in IOS 13.3 is a bug fix for an issue that prevented Qi wireless chargers from topping up the battery at full speed so fingers crossed this solves what was happening for us. I've no idea if my Qi charger was trickle charging as it has a green light which turns blue when it is charging and as it did not turn blue I assumed no charge was happening.

Same problem on iPhone 11 with iOS 13.1.2, before the update i have had no issues. Rebooting the iPhone is a temporary fix for now. Using two Ikea 5W wireless chargers and an unknown brand charger.

Wish I had searched this thread before ordering a new stand...

Restarting my 11 Pro allows me to charge wirelessly again. Sounds like a software issue.

I’ve had to do the same for my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro Max for two nights in a row. Power cycling allowed wireless charging to work.

Read a post about this. Power down the phone and then restart.
