Safari will not open

Try starting Safari with the Shift key held down (so it doesn’t try to reopen previous web pages). Does it work?

Restart in Safe Mode. Does Safari start in Safe Mode?

Restart normally again. Does Safari start?

Hi, I tried in Safe Mode with no success. my Mac just completed the update to Catalina. It solved the problem.

My Safari won't open since update last week. I think the code is the same as others, but I don't find the way to force a new update.

I have the same issue.

I believe the reason is the last update. There was a small update for Safari which was installed today and right after restarting my Mac Safari stopped working.

Same issue. Since yesterday. Small update was applied I think also. Booting into Safe mode also crashes safari.

I am not sure if there was some Safari update in last few days, but Safari works again :-)
