I have had this problem since yesterday, that the safari will not open when i'm clicking on the icon for it. It says: Safari closed unexpected... Click on "Open" again to open the program. This report will be sent to Apple automatically (translated from norwegian).
I have done this for several times, but nothing happens.

Just ran into the same problem!
Unfortunately upgrading to Catalina is not an option yet for me.
Any other ideas, as safe boot didnt do the job.
Cleanmymac claims another victim.

Even so there is no way of knowing what damage it may already have done to your system.
I expect you may say that you have had this for a long time and it is the first time there is a problem. Well the matter is cmm deletes stuff it should not mess with and the damage may only become apparent some time later.
Only What is always working is reinstalling the same version of OSX (if you don’t want to update) without format. All settings files and programs are on the same places. But safari is working again :)
