Extending Monitors on Macbook Pro 2017

Hello:

I have a MacBook Pro 13", 2017 with an Intel Iris Plus 650. I currently have my Mac linked up to a Lenovo USB-C dock with two DisplayPorts.

The two monitors I want to hook up are Dell P2419H (24" monitors) and I want to run both of these in extended display. Unfortunately, my screen Arrangement does not pick up the second Dell monitor and these just run as a mirrored display (my laptop screen is a separate space though). What do I need to do to allow both of these Dell monitors to have their own, separate, extended display?

Thanks!

See if you still have this option >System Preferences>Displays

press the option key while you're in Displays— You'll get a Detect displays button (bottom right).

there is a checkbox "Show displays in menu bar". If you check it, you get a new icon in the menu bar that has "Detect Displays" as its first option.
