macOS Catalina Terms and Conditions loop MacBook Pro

I can't reach my iCloud features, because I have to accept the new terms and conditions, but when I click, that I have read the new Terms and conditions and then click accept nothing happens, the window still says that I have to accept the new terms and conditions to use iCloud on my Mac.

This Mac is my daily computer which I work on, I can NOT reinstall the whole system, so I need another solution.

The only thing I have done before the problem started to occur is that I updated the OS.

Just to make sure I understand ... Did you install the beta of macOS Catalina on your "daily computer?" If so, then any issues that arise using the beta is not something that we can discuss here. If you are on the Developer beta, then you would know that there is a forum where you can go to for this. However, if you are on the Public beta, you do not have any options available to you to get help. Until Apple releases Catalina next month, you will have few options going forward.

One of those is to reinstall macOS Mojave from a backup. If you didn't perform a backup, then you will be "stuck" until Catalina is released.

I rang apple support & spent almost an hour on the phone to a vey helpful guy who helped me fix it. Or showed me how to fix the issue. We created a test id & did lots of restart & safe mode stuff that I don't understand but in the end it worked. There obviously is an issue with catalina for some macs. The last OS update was no issue for me so this one took me back to the dark days of glitchy os & things going wrong with my computer! At least its fixed now - for me - & I'm very impressed with Apple for their help & being bothered about the individual user.

So, this worked on my home mac. Now am on daughter's imac and am encountering same problem with Catalina. Problem is that when I follow the same instructions, it doesn't look the same as the home one...if that's possible. What do I click on here, as clicking on these individual things does nothing. And I don't understand why it worked before and not now. Feeling like a dolt, but need to ask. :-)

For those who are finding the answer to go to system preferences/internet accounts, unsatisfactory. A little more explanation.

firstly logging out of iCloud and reloading iCloud account didn't help.

go to ALL in the list (system preferences/internet accounts) click on each and wait for ten seconds to see if anything pops up asking you to accept terms and conditions. even if you only have one account or no additional accounts for mail.

I do have additional apple mail accounts, and one did ask.

however that didn't fix it.

it was actually game centre that I never use. Clicking on it hung, saying saving for ages, and only when it was removed did things magically resolve themselves.

so go through the entire list, there's definitely something screwy with catalina, and leaving no stone unturned no matter how off the wall it sounds, may fix YOUR problem.
