Ipad Air 2 won't connect to WiFi after iPadOS 13 upgrade
I've tried rebooting iPad, rebooting router, resetting network settings on iPad, and toggling airplane mode on/off. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks

It's fixed! I did a full recovery from iTunes while holding down the Home button (as per https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306)
and when it asked I restored from the iTunes backup I took before upgrading to iPadOS 13. It all worked. Came up running iPadOS 13.1, connected to my WiFi router and all seems to be well now.
Oh boy am I glad I took both an iTunes and an iCloud backup before I started this saga! Paranoia wins again.
Same problems here.
The upgrade to 13.1 (from last version of 12) appeared to go fine.
But I can’t access any wifi network that has a password, hangs and pauses are common, I can’t access any iCloud services as authentication of my AppleID eventually fails (works fine in a web browser tho)
My iPad Air 2 is unusable at the moment!
Resetting network and other settings has not helped.
I am having the same problem connecting to either the wifi or my Apple ID in my Air 2. I have tried on several networks and it just won't accept a password. Additionally, it is slow to the point that I think it froze between clicks. It is a useless brick right now!
I contacted Apple support this morning and they ended up telling me to set-up at appointment at the Apple store. I really hope they can find a fix before telling me to wipe the device and start over. I have a lot of docs and items that don't backup in iCloud that will be lost if I lose the device.
I don't even want to update my iPhone XS Max to 13.1 because I can't take a chance of losing my last working device.
Does anyone know if this issue has occurred in devices other than the iPad Air 2?
Thanks for listening to my rant . . .
Oh yes I do agree with you and this is why I will NOT be updating my iPad Air 2. I have a rule that once my devices are older than 4 years, I don’t update. Had too many issues on past iPads that were perfectly fine until I updated. Im still annoyed I updated my iPad 4 once when I hit the update pop up by mistake. After establishing this would be my new rule. I just hope to God I don’t repeat this same mistake on my Air 2. I can forget which one I’m on.
Same thing happened on an old Apple TV, the update destroyed it. To be honest this is probably how I’ve ended up with 4 iPads. I have to get a new one. I updated my Air 3 yesterday without issue because it’s a new 2019 model.
I contacted my neighbor, who has a completely different wifi network and got permission to log on to hers.
Same problem.
The iPad is completely useless. Slowed to a crawl with no ability to log onto any network
I am in exactly the same state. I have tried everything listed in this. I can’t even get it to erase all contents. My iPad Air 2 is virtually unusable! What can I do if I can’t even erase it back to factory settings??
Yes. Pretty well tried everything on this post. I can't even get the iPad to make a connection to my computer. I get to the trust screen and it times out. Everything either times out or is very very slow. Had some success putting the iPad next the router, but still having issues with it being VERY SLOW.
How can the "Solved" /accepted answer be a link that doesn't work?
I have this problem as well. Updated two iPad Air 2s to iOS 13 and one worked fine while the other won't connect to WIFI, hangs, and is generally useless. Now I guess will hunt for an actual link so I can spend however long it takes to fix this...
it goes to whichever ACS reply happens to pop up in the mailbox, which isn't neccassarily in the order posted, depending on when you check your mail, any reply can be there, if you reply directly from mail. ?it doesn't indicate who you are replying to unless you actively select that post within the thread.
No luck. I've tried 2 different wifi networks and hot spot
Try going into the Settings app under General, Reset and try Resetting the Network Settings, again.
This is just one of the many reasons why I am never in a frenzy and rush to perform ANY iOS upgrades and updates of my iDevices.
Exactly the same issue on my iPad Air 2 .. tried all the suggestions above. My kids 2018 iPad upgraded fine & wifi works.
Tried that multiple times as well.
David Shanahan, thank you! That worked for me. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good back up before hand so I had to revert to new. But I am now on wifi and able to connect to iTunes.
Thanks VERY much for posting this! Worked for me too -
