anyone having issues with the new iphone 11 pro max - often click on the camera and it is frozen and just offers a black screen - messages froze this
morning - only way is to turn the phone off and back on again to clear the issue

I’m sure Apple is well aware of the current issues with the IOS as well as well as the issues involving the new devices. I have noticed increasingly less issues with my iPhone 11 max pro since the 13.2 upgrade which I believe the software actually continues to polish the new software even after the initial upgrade. What I mean is since the initial 13.2 install I am seeing improvements with each passing day after install
My iPhone 11 couldn’t pull up photos in text messages and was slow and freezing with the internet and apps. I went into the Apple store and they gave me a new phone. It the same thing after 1 week and I had to go into the store again where they restored and reset my phone. Spent hours in there and got angry they said I couldn’t return this piece of crap that doesn’t work after 14 days when their original solution was to give me a new phone didn’t solve the issue with the software that doesn’t work. I’ve had to re-add everything on the phone after the reboot and it still freezes up and I have to use my old iPhone 7 which doesn’t freeze and works more reliably than this piece of crap they charged me over $1,000 for.
I have the same problem! While using various apps the screen freezes and is unresponsive. The phone won’t reboot either - no side buttons work. The only remedy then is to put it away for a minute or two and it will unfreeze by itself. It is a really annoying thing, especially when u think how much u paid for the phone!
I've never seen either of those things happen and I use mine for several hours each day.
If yours is doing it, you may want to take it in to have it examined.

There is nothing more frustrating for a support engineer than hearing about an issue but being unable to reproduce it in the lab.
Apple is not responsible for Snapchat or Instagram's apps, those companies are.
Contact Snapchat and Instagram and ask when they are going to fix their apps.
I have never seen "freezing" on my 11 Pro Max.
If you are seeing it, have your phone examined.

Don't press the power button to wake the phone, just tap the screen.
Mine too - except my issue is in Contacts - if I search for a contact - it just freezes up. I close the app and it either remains frozen at the same spot or resets to the general view - very frustrating for a 2 day old $1400 phone.....
Me too. My camera freezes. My entire screen freezes sometimes. I have some lag when swiping across pages. The dark mode glitch where it flashes from white to black is driving me nuts. Then screen sensitivity is bad as I will be swiping up reading a webpage and it automatically switches to a new article listed in the original page, moving apps is very slow and hard to do as you have to hold very lightly for too long otherwise it registers to do something else. This whole phone feels buggy and a waste of $1200
Mine also is 1 day old and freezing in multiple applications. My messages, email, safari, instagram, camera. The only "fix" is to lock my phone and then unlock. It is happening every 20 min. I called apple support and they told me "just return the phone"--no solution.
I have the iPhone 11 and is freezing every day. Apps like Facebook, instagram, google maps and the phone itself freezes on a daily basis. Today I had the spinning wheel with black screen go on for over 20 minutes. I guess as able to clear it but it didn’t change anything. The freezing continues.
