Handoff not working iOS 13!
Just got an Apple Watch and I’ve noticed handoff isn’t working with it or my 2018 iMac (I think it’s a 23”.) I’m on iOS 13.1, iPhone 8.

Great, glad you were able to resolve! Yes, it is important for handoff or any continuity action that you be signed in with the same Apple ID. For those having issues with this, take a look at the articles I posted earlier:

I have the same issue, my device is iPhone 8p. The problem is that I can copy from my iPhone to my Mac or iPad, but it doesn't work if I copy from Mac or iPad to my iPhone. Mac and iPad are the newest os system, and handoff work fine between them. I meet many bug in iPhone 8p when I update to iOS13, like AirPods issue and screen issue
I have an iPhone XR which I recently updated to IOS 13.1.2 and an iPad Air which I updated to IOS 12.4.2 at the same time. Since these updates handoff has stop working on both devices.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can rectify it?
I’ve tried switching handoff off and on again on both but it still doesn’t work.
I called apple support and they fixed it relatively easily, although I can't remember exactly what they did!
As far as i can tell, handoff requires that the devices and computers all have the same Apple ID, and they need to be exactly the same. So if one device is on yourname@mac.com and the computer is on yourname@icloud.com, the handoff may not work. In any event it is not a bug per se, but you need to set things up properly.
I have the same problem that handoff functionality of the general clipboard is not working between my iPad Pro and my iPhone X, both on iOS 13.1.2.
it definitely worked on iOS 12 and both devices are on the same Apple ID, WiFi on and Bluetooth on....
My problem was very similar. I found out that despite not making any changes myself, somehow one of my devices Apple ID was set to "myname@icloud.com" and the other device was set to "myname@mac.com". presumably those should be the same Apple ID, but in fact the system did not see them as the same until I made them both "myname@mac.com"...
That is some BS bro. I did exactly that and it does not work. Whatever they did to make it work for you was just pure luck and code-coincidence. There is a BUG between ios13 and Mojave/Catalina. And APPLE IS NOT HELPING!

Mine too. It’s complete annoying. Copy/paste from iPad Pro to iPhone 11 Pro is knackered. I wish it was just that! Handoff is not working either, and iCloud syncing problems (especially in the notes app) are evident!
Did you try to log off from from your Apple ID account on your device and to logon again? I did it on my iPad Pro and it made the trick for me after copy paste did not work with my iPhone X. Maybe it was just coincidence but it might be worth a try.
I had to log off from my Apple ID on my phone last month.
After I finished setting it up, I had some sync issues with iCloud, so I logged off and on and it worked.
Did you mean from the iPad also? I haven’t tried that. Might be worth a try
Where are all the other folks with handoff problems with iOS13 and the new iPhone 11 Pro? Its not working for me, and i can't get certain people to show up on my messages app on my macs...
My iphone xr ios 13.1.2 and my ipad mini2 ios12.4.2, the handoff function, COPY from ipad and PASTE at iphone or wise versa also not working, is this one of the function in handoff?
