I cannot open a Final Cut Pro X library, get the message: "Permission denied" ... library is already in use ... who can help me?
Where is the library? Did you reboot?
Yes I did reboot, the library is on an external HD.
Story: all at once the HD has not been recognized any longer, looked like it has crashed. This was not the case. Interface problem. New interface, and now the libraries are recocnized, but cannot be opened, access denied, file already in us, mentioning it is in use by myself, on my computer. I cannot open the files with FCPX. I can however in Finder have a look at several clips, in .mov format.
Edits seem to be gone.
