I'm getting the message "Sign in to Complete Purchase" every time on my Apple Watch after installing OS 6. Also, it asks me to login to an old Apple ID that I don't use anymore...
The message keeps popping up on my wrist 4-5 times and then it goes out for a while.

OK. Here is the fix that worked for me!
You now wont receive any more of those annoying notifications!
i followed the instructions provided in the answer but needed to restart my phone to sync with my watch.
I have the same setup and get the same errors. I get the same problem when I try and re-pair my old Series 3 so it's not hardware specific.
Today when I got the message, I typed in the wrong password and it didn’t ask me any more after that. Now I’ll see what happens tomorrow when I put my watch back on!
As soon as I posted this message, that message appears on my watch I took it off and turned it off! I’m so sick of the message. Has any one ever take. It to apple for a fix?????!!

It seems to me that since it happened after the Apple update Apple should be given as a solution
Waterside guy is brilliant. It was somewhat complicated for me to get rid of the apps, but it worked and I no longer have that obnoxious message on my watch.
Help, That didn't work.
I added that step and it's still coming up. This is so frustrating.
Thank goodness my niece fixed my the other night!!! No more irritating message!!!
