audi mmi won't toggle songs and skip songs since latest iPhone update

Yesterday I updated my iPhone 7 to iOS13.1 and now my 2015 Audi A3 mmi is not able to control the apple music. The screen appears as normal and I can see all of the playlists. The bump forward/reverse on the volume knob doesn't do anything and the dial to choose songs will move and highlight a song but it won't select the music. I have tried a hard restart on both the Audi system and my iPhone. The toggle features work on the radio and the CD player. I think it's an apple issue. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I haven't had luck getting this solved. I was hopeful yesterday with an update to the iOS but it's still the same. Have you had any luck with it?

I was hoping 13.1.3 would solve the problem but it has not:(

Took my car to Audi today and they do not know why this is happening and are pointing me to Apple.

yes, in my case its the same! The bug exists only in Playlists, but I like my playlists and use them a lot. I have the latest Audi Firmware for my car..

Confirmed - bug existis only in Playlists but it doesn't change anything - still very annoying

I suggest calling apple support and going through all of the steps so it becomes a known issue and then they will look at it.
