Logic Pro X taking a very long time to load. Also, recurring core midi error.

I'm a long time user of Logic Express. I upgraded my 2014 Mac Mini to Mojave 10.14.6 and bought and installed Logic Pro X. I have two problems with Logic Pro X. It is taking a very long time to load, and when it does, I'm getting a core midi error message. I was able to get the midi going by 'reseting all preferences except key commands' and restarting Logic, but the same problem happens the next session I have. I use a Scarlett 214 interface. Can anyone please help me solve these problems?

I'm wondering whether my previous installation of Logic Express has anything to do with this? I simply dragged the app into the trash. Thanks!

With 4 GB of RAM you can barely do anything useful with the current version of Logic on Mojave. It depends on your expectations. Also I guess you have the base HD configuration which is slow for Pro use.

I don't think you have many options. From memory the RAM cannot be upgraded but the HD can.

I understand this is not an answer to your question but it gives you an understanding of your issue.
