Iphone 11 Pro Max and Carplay not working

I’m having the same issue. Nissan dealership Told me that their technology is not caught up with Apple and there is no fix right now

Also having the same issue on my 2016 Yukon Denali. I've had 2 phone conferences with Apple Engineers and they installed some diagnostic software to see what is going on. They said a reply can take 24 hours to 4 days. Will update.

The issue was fixed temporarily after I switched to another cable. But after 3/4 days, the issue came back. I can not connect no matter how many cables I switched (4-5 apple original cables.)

Would Apple software developers actually see this post and try to address it? I didn't find anywhere on the internet discussing about this issue. And there is nothing related to this issue in ios 13.1.1/13.1.2 updates.

Iphone 11pro Max. Same issue here. I’ve tried old cables, new cables, new Apple cables. Nothing works. The phone charges and in some instances it will even play music but the interface isn’t there. My X worked fine. My X also had ios13. It worked fine. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE. Its extremely intermittent. It’s maddening!!

Exact same problem. 2019 suburban premier. XS Max worked perfectly with same apple branded cables. Wife and kids older iPhones work perfectly. Just not my 11 pro max with 13.1.2. Sometimes it connect and sometimes projection does not work unless I unplug and plug in multiple times or restart phone. Very frustrating.

I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado LT with ChevyMyLink running version 84331772. Console when connected to WiFi says it is the most up to date version. Using iPhone 11 Pro Max running 13.1.2. Apple CarPlay does not work most of the time when I plug it in. I will be trying some of the solutions here and I will let you know how it goes.

I’m having the same problem. iPhone 11 pro max rarely connects to Apple CarPlay in 2017 Silverado. Apple support was no help. Bought new Apple lighting cable even though I was already using genuine Apple cable. Didn’t help. Works maybe 15% of the time. :(

Same issue here, my iPhone XS MAX and prior worked just fine; however iPhone 11 pro does not. Apple CarPlay tries to launch but its way to glitchy, the app crashes and the stereo says “Apple CarPlay failed to launch”. It is supper frustrated that I am not able to use the feature with a newer product. Hopefully they put out an update to fix the issue soon.

I have a 2019 Lexus NX with Apple Car Play. I upgraded from the iPhone X to the 11Pro. I’m having issues with phone calls while using the Waze app. I can’t talk with the phone using Apple Car Play plugged into the usb Apple plug and use the maps app at the same time. Is anyone having that issue? I didn’t have this issue with iPhone X.

Same problem CarPlay worked fine in my 2019 Altima with my iPhone X but as soon as I got the 11pro max and updated to 13.1.2 I have to plug and unplug several times and it may or may not recognize it. Mostly not. Very frustrating for sure. Apple Support was of very little help on this issue for me.

I am soooooo over it! Mine doesn't work after all the updates and troubleshooting.

My colleague also has the same iphone 11 and his doesn't work either!

We have tried different vehicles, all have the same issue.

I've had new handsets, leads, reset the phone, upgraded, forgotten devices, set up from new........you name it i've tried it.

Hope Apple sort it as I have to have Carplay, I work on the road constantly.
