Iphone 11 Pro Max and Carplay not working

Do you mean 13.1.1, 13.1.2 & 13.1.3 ?

Not to be mistaken for 13.2 Beta 3, which has been flawless as far as the CarPlay bug goes.

Just trying to verify And clarify for all monitoring this string.

I will give this a try and reply back. Even if it works doesn’t absolve Apple of the need to fix. Hope they are actually reading this. Seems the issue has been known here for almost a month. Very disappointing.

I hate to burst your bubble on this, but my car play has worked at times regardless of amount charged. There seems to be no correlation for me as it will cut out at any random time, both when charges 100% and not.

This doesn’t explain why mine works intermittently, with various cables and charge levels. And if you read back, others have tried all of that too and it didn’t help. Also, others in 13.2 have reported it hasn’t fixed the issue. I’m beginning to regret getting this phone. This is a safety issue and not acceptable. I’ve said this to Apple. They act like they’ve never heard of this problem.

Same (I have a 2018 Maxima as well), I even have it updated to the latest beta like some suggested here and keep getting either this error or choppy audio, never happened with the iPhone XS Max, just the 11 Pro Max. Photo was taken while running iOS 13.2 Beta 4.

U really cant expect much from a bunch of kids working to softwares . Lately having an Iphone looks pretty much a sadistic desire to complicate ur life . Makes u wanna have a competitor phone ? Why ... couse others simply test their phones , softwares bef launching an 1500 E phone. Having an iphone 11 pro and using a 5s for bmw carplay . 11 pro doesnt conect . The answer is simple now . They dont really care...good job Apple .Not !

Sure it is , they just flooded the market with it , now we gotta deal with all their problems . Anyway its fun . Got an iphone pro and use 5S for appleplay . How sick is that . Not gonna discuss other issues here , but it simply lacks common features if other brands . I mean its **** simple , u the Apple , take all the phones of the market , grab all the good options other have and juat offer it and ad something extra . But when it misses simple functionality . The phone it actually jams to simple tasks . Makes me laugh but its sad

Thinking to return mine , that's not a phone to match its price . As i said they just droped it on the market with tons of glitches . I aint here to test their betas and stuff . They had plenty of time bef launching . They simply incapable lately . Probably u all here forget how much this phone costs . Or its a time when 1000 € is change money who knows

Mine also , simply doesnt work , probably we need to buy other cars in order to use an Iphone right now .... anyway everyday i find things that annoy me in daily used . I can only expect the new samsung 11 and return to android as their attention to user needs is better . Ill stick to a lousy 5s to my armrest for apple play and thats it . Meantime other issues as always , make a selfie , go to pic edit , mirror image couse they incapable of u derstanding that u wanna take a pic that u control and see how u gonna look . U dont wanna go to edit immediately just to mirror an image . So annoying , lack of features , basic ones . Carplay seems just nothing compared to other issues . And front camera is such a joke , was supposed to be way better not just like 10 %

Same issue, Mercedes Benz GLA 2018, I took the car to the cars dealer thinking that a car software update may help but it didn't, the same problem, actually I still have my old iPhone Xs (13.2 factory reset and configured again not from backup) and the CarPlay works but with the new iPhone 11 Pro super max (iOS 13.2) it does not work. I have to say that CarPlay was working on iPhone 11 but I made a complete reset of the iPhone 11 Pro Max without restoring from BackUp and then the problem stated. I tried with many cables and actually I tried using an adapter from Regular USB to USB-C-Type in order to use the original cable USB-C-Type that came with the iPhone 11 but nothing. I tried also disabling and enabling CarPlay from "Screen Time"but nothing works. It is surprising for me that there is very few people reporting this problem ...

My 11 Pro connects just fine to my new 2020 Tundra. Everything works. Maps, music, Spotify, etc. PHONE CALLS, however, DO NOT WORK! The call is made (or answered) but the calls become choppy and CarPlay doesn't register the "time of call" until I hang up. The only workaround for now is to literally pull the plug if a call comes in or I need to make a call, and then Bluetooth takes over and it's fine. I shouldn't have to be unplugging and plugging the phone over & over, though.

Btw I plugged in my wife's iPhone 8+ and it worked just fine. I'm kind of wishing I'd have kept my 8+ instead of opting for the $300 credit from Apple for the trade in.

I also tried almost every suggestion on here. No luck. Running 13.2.

I agree my problems have something to do with Siri, as I have other sound issues that are “fixed” by asking Siri a question. However I have always had Siri turned on and with CarPlay, I often have no sound when trying to make a phone call, navigation directions, messages, anything involving Siri.

Upgraded to the 11 and I have the same problem. It doesn’t seem to be a problem at all with my Chevrolet but it does not work with my Mercedes. I’ve been on the phone with Apple four times and the manufacturer (MBUSA). Mercedes claims Apple needs to do a software update and Apple acts as is if no one else is having this problem. I was on the fence when I upgraded to the 11, so since I’m within my 15 days of the purchase I plan to bring it back tomorrow and just get a Samsung. I’m so tired of Apple—they just aren’t what are used to be.

I have a 19 subaru forrester and have never had more problems than with the iPhone 11 pro max! 1200.00 phone and CarPlay is broken. Tried different cables; applied an update from subaru, moved to different usb connections.

They need to fix this. This is a basic need. How can i trust using maps and CarPlay when my radio reboots arbitrarily while driving! Calls are dropped; audio doesn't work at times.

All of it leads to a broken CarPlay.

Hopefully they are lying to me because that means they might be working on a fix. The last time I talked to them they told me it must be a firmware issue with my car, but I don’t think that’s true because it works perfectly if all of the above happens
