I have the new iPhone 11 Pro Max and a 2018 Nissan Maxima with carplay. Carplay worked with my previous Iphone X even after the IOS 13 upgrade but with the Iphone 11 Pro Max carplay just keeps saying it won't start and retries again. Any ideas?

Also having the same issue on my 2016 Yukon Denali. I've had 2 phone conferences with Apple Engineers and they installed some diagnostic software to see what is going on. They said a reply can take 24 hours to 4 days. Will update.
CarPlay won’t work with iPhone 11max and brand new 2020 Nissan Rogue. Come on Apple and Nissan get it together. So frustrating. Why advertise something that doesn’t work at all. Which company is going to make this right for me???
Ashadarsha - was this ever resolved, sounds like you have done the same thing I have, with no resolution. After spending literally hours on the phone with their reps and sending videos and data from the phone to them, the phone is still not working in CarPlay and now google maps is glitching when using waypoints. They now have me waiting (again) for the CarPlay engineers to get back to me. I may need to go back to the 10 as well since I know that works fine.
Yes Jim. I never have any issues now. Works every time I plug in. I am using the USBC adapter (after market) and the USBC 3’ lightening cord. I make sure my phone connects to Bluetooth first, make sure my screen is locked and on home and never have any issues at all.
Yes agree. Problem just started with IOS 13. I will say it seems to be the combination of IPhone 11 Pro Max and iOS 13. My iPhone X and IOS 13 worked fine
Another user was having an issues with CarPlay working with his 2018 VW and his post/solution is here. Hopefully, this solution will work for those in this thread.
I think we should all install the beta iOS and report directly from there?

Finally worked. Bought the Type C female to A male converter.
New iOS 13.3 is out. Can’t wait it to try it with my CarPlay. Keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞🏼

Same issue in my 2017 impala my iPhone XS Max worked fine then I got the pro max and it stopped work tried multiple cables from Apple usb-lighting and usb c-lightning with an adapter nothing works
This is not a compatibility problem for any of us SravanKrA. This is a software issue that just started to present itself with iOS 13 and/or iPhone 11 Pro Max. My CarPlay worked fine until that.
Awesome looking forward to hearing what they tell you. I will do the same, but traveling this week for work, so can't spend the time on the phone with support until later this week.
