I love the Apple Watch Stainless Sapphire models for the looks and durability. However I don’t need cellular. I’m getting a series 4 gold Stainless and it seems there are no “GPS only” versions of this model. What happens if I choose not to set up cellular?

The cellular can just leave the iPhone at home while you go for a walk, run, bike ride, etc...

You are not using the cellular radio, so it should not draw any power.
Does the cellular feature affect the battery life? In other words, if I have a GPS + Cellular watch and I choose to use it as a GPS only watch, can I expect the battery to perform like a GPS watch? Conversely, will enabling the Cellular feature have a negative effect on battery performance?
