Magazines won’t download on Apple News + since upgrading to iPadOS 13

Since the iPadOS 13 update my magazines will not download.

New magazines all have a shadowed cloud icon underneath but it won’t let you click on the cloud icon.

If I click the 3 dots below it gives me the option to remove magazines like it’s already downloaded. (Which is a much needed new feature...to delete previously read magazines).

But the problem is they‘re not downloaded. When I turn my WiFi off and click on a magazine I get the message “Issue Unavailable. Apple news is not connected to the internet”.

ive spent way too much time trying to trouble shoot this.

I used to love my Texture magazine subscription service. I was a subscriber for years. It was far superior to Apple News +. No idea why they had to completely revamp it. It was perfect the way it was.

NONE of my magazines will download (followed or unfollowed) since the iOS update. Glad they’ve finally added the feature to remove issues. Now how about letting us download the new ones! And, yes, I’ve submitted feedback to Apple.

I miss Texture.
