How do I wake my ipad mini 2 from sleep? After I updated to ios 12.4.2 i cant wake my device it will only faintly light the screen hit still blank. If i do a hard reset, buttons are working fine. Diaplay seems ok. But if i lock the screen. I cant wake it back again unless i reset. I also noticed that the lock/umlock option for display is missing.

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
