iPhone 11 volume low

i dont get a signal when i get a text, the vlume is always low, i set it to high an it changes back to low

I have issues with my volume I turn to Max and it still sounds lower

Playback volume on videos received on WhatsApp is very low. It was ok earlier, but has suddenly beacome so low as to be barely audible. Youtube videos play just fine. How can I fix this?

I have the same problem have you found out what to do to fix it. I do t have the plastic still on it either

We did all the complicated tech stuff over hours and days with Apple. Make sure you have taken off plastic screen cover. It can affect volume if it’s still on waiting for real glass screen cover. Plastic cover sent on phone by manufacturer can affect volume.

Today I was going walking using my Apple Watch and new AirPods for the first time. I sat down last night and started playing around with music and volume so that I wouldn't have to be in a rush to figure it out before my walking venture. I checked the Internet, asking questions in a variety of ways and still had no better knowledge of volume, sound, haptics or music. Then I did what every Apple user does...I played.

I found out that when you are in an app the volume is controlled by the crown (knob on the side). The crown doesn't work to raise or lower volume if you aren't in an app. When my husband called earlier this evening I couldn't hear him so I turned the crown and low and behold it increased the volume.

I sure hope this helps someone. I was thrilled when I made this discovery.

I have the exact same issue with my iphone 11. The other person hears me clearly but their volume is very low for me to hear when I am using the phone directly. If i use the headphone instead I can hear them clearly. I spent an hour with an apple customer care person; we changed setting etc. but the problem remains. It is kind of unfortunate that with so many people pointing out this issue, apple has not done anything yet.

Well I've tested and the speaker is completely fine and also the levels are great on ear phones.. during calls and media playback.

the problem is only with the volume of the person speaking during direct calls on the phone. I really have to strain to hear the other person speaking.

I got two simple fixes from apple tech support.

1. clean the hole where the transmitter comes out. I used a new tooth brush. (Hold the phone at an angle so any dirt can fall out)
2. Reset the phone. (Back up first).

that fixed my 11 pro just fine.

Go to your settings > Face ID &' passcode > Attention Awareness Features &' switch it to off there you have it 😊
