Poor iPhone 11 camera quality or photos app bug?

The Camera quality is a hit or miss. It’s great if you use it for landscape pictures. But for selfies... just don’t unless you want some insecurities, it will show every pores, pimples, and blackheads. You’re better off using an app like Snapchat to get a good selfie. Besides that it also sucks with exposure. I FaceTime every day so if it’s too bright like when the sun is on you or you use a flash, you look like a faceless monster!

xs Max, 11 same! Good flower pics and scenes but people shots and selfies are awful. I have a Real camera. Aren’t smart phones normally used more for selfies and you tube make up tutorial. Oh and I had to buy air pods to be able to hear if I had to put the phone up to my ear!

I am looking at yr images from my iPhone 6s, and I can’t see any differences in the images before and after zooming in and out.

I haven’t tried out the video, but think the photos are somewhat noisy when viewed on larger screens.

Quick fix? What fix? I’m experiencing the same issue

i’ve spent hours on chat line with an Apple support person, and we just went around and around on how it doesn’t take great pictures

I’m having the same issue! My photo quality is terrible and looks worse than my previous iPhone model and I have an iPhone 11 Pro!

I still haven't found a solution - the camera quality just seems terrible. I have friends with Huawei phones etc and quality doesn't degrade

No, sometimes when I zoom in just after taking the pic it adjusts the quality but not all the time. The front selfie camera is terrible

This works sometimes but I'm not buying a phone that needs to be "zoomed into" on every pic for better quality - when the person next to me with a Samsung or Huawei just takes a pic

worst camera ever.. doesnt seem natural.. android phones can shoot far way better than overpriced iphones... very disappointing..

I agree, and it’s terrible. I compared it to an Samsung Galaxy A30 and the camera was actually very significantly better on the Samsung galaxy a30. Is there a fix?
