Poor iPhone 11 camera quality or photos app bug?

I have the same issue. Its so frustrating.

As long as we see good photos while zooming, I guess it means its not a camera problem.

Anyone found a sollution for this?

The camera on the iPhone 11 sucks

I have the same problem. Before update my iPhone 11 to iOS 14, pictures were great, now are really bad quality. Blurry and noisy and many points in the photo with no detail.

I have a very poor camera quality. I spend a lot of money in it?? Not satisfied.. can anyone give me any suggestions regarding this?

11 Pro Max here. I don’t seem to have this issue with blurry photos that gets fixed after zooming in and out but I do think that generally speaking camera quality is garbage. When in 100% zoom on the photo there is next to no details, everything is jaggy and distorted. Even using the “best” 1x lens. Don’t get me started on that super wide 0.5x because that thing is plain and simple unusable. I didn’t buy the phone for the camera (I have a Nikon D7100 for photo needs) but I DID hoped for an upgrade over my iPhone 7 Plus for some quick random snaps when I don’t have my camera either me or I can’t be bothered with getting it and taking an actual photo.

Bought the XS Max .. an upgrade from a 6plus!

noticed pics were not as good as 6plus. Selfies were horrible! Red eye you couldn’t fix! Front and rear camera is horrible!! Didn’t happen with the 6. Traded for 11 Max pro. Same old thing. Apple you should be ashamed for selling us this junk! The improvements you talk about are worthless. How about listening to the buyers and fix this camera problem!!

Are you using iCloud Photos and optimise storage? Zooming in is forcing the download of the full resolution photo from iCloud; without zooming you may just be seeing the low resolution, optimised preview. The more photos you are having on your iPhone, the more photos will get optimised, if your iPhone does not have much free storage.

I have 40 gb free storage and I dont use iCloud for photos. It is a little bit strange since I ve also tried changing the formats to most compatible..

I dont have the problem if I take the photo on 16:9.

Did somebody solve this problem? I am going crazy and ready to throw my phone out of window..,
