Since updating my iPhone XR to 13.1.1 I cannot change the ringer volume using the side toggle keys. I must use pull down screen to adjust. A bell appears at the top of my screen when I try to use left side keys, however, no adjustment can be accomplished. Any idea how to correct this?

Check Settings > Sounds & Haptics > RINGER AND ALERTS >
make sure slider volume is to the right and Change with Buttons is ON.
While still in Settings, test it using the Volume buttons on the left side of iPhone.
Since updating iPhone X to 13.1.1 I cannot use side buttons to change ringer volume. Any idea of why?
