iPhone 11 Pro clock Alarm/Timer sound issue

I have quite happy with my new iPhone 11 Pro and have only

encountered this on issue.

The sound used for an alarm for alarm clock or timer is muted.

When selecting the sound and playing it plays at full volume.

However, when the timer ends, the sound is very muted. All

other system alert sounds (phone calls, incoming texts, etc.)

all play at their correct volume. Music will play at full volume.

The main volume control is set to max.

This only is happening on the iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13.1.1.

I have an iPhone 8 on iOS 13.1.1and it is very loud and annoying

(what is desired for an alarm).

Is there some special setting I am missing in the iPhone 11 Pro

or is this likely an iOS bug, since hardware is ruled out as everything

else is fine. If so, I will file a bug report.
