Link to remove U2 album not working, Apple ID login fail

I'm trying to remove the crappy U2 album from my life forever. The link provided by apple does not work: https://itunes.com/soi-remove. It asks for my Apple ID sign in but login fails despite entering in the correct credentials. No 6 digit 2-factor authentication code prompt is available. I really can't believe how hard it is to get rid of this album.

This incident happened five years ago. The removal tool worked perfectly at the time. See Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support to create a code and then sign in again using <password><code> where you would otherwise use <password>. If you cannot get it to work for you then contact iTunes - Official Apple Support.
