Cannot load photo (There was an error loading this photo)

Thank you, ma104. Maybe you ought to apply for a job at Apple. Maybe some bugs will actually be fixed then. It’s really sad when you come to rely on the people in these threads rather than the tech team at Apple.

I'm having this same issue with any photo I try to edit - even when I've taken it straight from the camera. It's completely random and unpredictable, and of course, it usually happens to a photo a really like. This sucks big time. I hope it can be resolved soon

I’m having the same problem. Only the photos that I’ve downloaded from my canon camera show the error screen. It only pops up when I tried to edit the photo on my phone. It also won’t let me post those specific pictures to Instagram =\

Warzau I don't think Apple cares much about that factor otherwise I'm sure we would have had a bug fix by now. The Apple Support person who was looking after me no longer corresponds which means to me that Apple doesn't care.

I don't know, if many more don't find out unlike us it will prob be on the back burner. Going back to my issue with iMessage and Facetime our group went through a couple of small updates and then IIRC 2 major ones and it was never resolved.

This is ridiculous and apple should be shameful about this very very unprofessional behavior. I can only wish Big man was here to see how pathetic they have become. Now they cant even fix a simple bug. I smell that this is something they are doing purposely to hide their capped bandwidths. There is no other sane reason to justify this issue.

Is anyone still having this issue??? I’m about tired of Apple. This only started happening after my storage was suddenly full after an update. & everything taking up space on my phone is all in the “other” section so I’m sure Apple is pulling tricks once again (like the battery issue) to try and get people to upgrade.

I am still having this issue. I also use Google Photos and now because the photo aren't downloaded on my phone because of an apple error I can't even use Google Photos as a back up. This issue is SO frustrating.

I have been having this issue as well. I've tried as many of these solutions as I can (it is almost impossible to free up storage on my phone because of the amount of "Other" is taking up space. I tried going to iCloud on another device, and I am able to see some of the images but not others. Does that mean the others are corrupted and there is nothing to be done?

I have Iphone11 purchased in end July/2020. I could edit photos untill last week. Now I get a message there is an error to try later. Anybody know how to fix this? I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I hope so too. I've been having lengthy chats with Apple Support and sharing screens with the them. This issue now is in the hands of the Apple engineers.

frizzo2020 Me too. Can't wait for Apple Engineers to respond with the latest data they took off my iPhone. I think it's a problem with iCloud itself.

Support took a dump or whatever from both my phone and tablet yesterday, so they do know that there is a problem.

I'm having the exact same issue, renaming the file does not work for me; any update on this?
