Instagram not formatted to iPhone 11?

I had the same problem until I updated IG and it went back to normal view

I came here due to having this exact same problem. I updated the Instagram app and it worked! All fixed now.

I had the same problem. I just deleted the app and re-installed it. Works fine now. Nothing is cut off! Try it! :)

I literally just updated my IG app just now and it fixed the issue! Yay! :)

Just update the app and it will fix it.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it and everything was formatted correctly after that!

This is ridiculous. I bought the new 11 just for my business Instagram and now I can’t even use it. I don’t want to have to delete the app and reinstall all day long. The formatting is completely off like other users have mentioned. All 4 sides of the app are cut off, rendering it unusable. Please fix this!

Same. I think the issue was a lapse in the time my iOS updated and Instagram issued their update. Once I was able to update the app the problem was resolved. When I posted this question both the app and iOS were up to date

I am having a consistent issue with pictures getting highly pixilated at certain points during the editing and posting of Instagram pictures to my feed.

I have to consistently shutdown the app, or delete the app and RE-install. not sure what is going on here...

My issue is the opposite end of the spectrum. Used to be cut off when I got the phone in September. Then it was fine and only really noticeable (barely) in stories. Now Instagram is a screen within a screen. Meaning that app only takes up about 80% of my 11pro’s screen. This also means you cannot swipe from the edge of the phones screen, resulting in 5-10 swipes to go back, as I’m used to swiping with a certain gesture. Same goes for the “send” button. It’s in a significantly different place on the screen. I keep tapping to the right of it. Anyone else experiencing this mildly infuriating change? Happened this morning with update. I bought the 11pro for the screen size and image viewing, now this IG update has made that point moot as far as it pertains to the app.

My new iPhone 11 Pro is lagging just after 2 months... when I use instagram sometimes it just stucks in the dm where I can’t tap the icons of message and pics on the bottom... I have to refresh the window of ig everytime
