iPhone 11 call volume extremely low

When I received the new Iphone11 I too had the same issue on low hearing.

Just I removed the temporary protection sheet blocking the speaker.

It became normal.

My sincere suggestion is that Apple must print this info on the top of the temporary

protective sticker to avoid people getting disappointed unnecessarily with Apple!!!!!

This happened to me at first and I actually called my cellphone provider and got a replacement and it happened again. The reason why is because I had kept the plastic that covers the screen on the phone at first when using it and that was messing up the phones sound indicator. Both phones work fine after I took the plastic off.

Yup, I put the screen protector slot at the top of the screen and it no longer blocked the receiver. Can hear fine now.

Did you put a screen protector on? Is it covering the speaker at the top? You may have put the screen protector on upside down.

First I would attempt to uninstall and reinstall the application.

If issue persists attempt to force restart. To force restart quickly click the volume up button click the volume down and then hold the power. Keep holding the power button until you see the device restart.

If this issue started to occur after an update I would invest in updating it again we are currently on iOS 13.2.

If Issue persists I would attempt to contact Apple support.

I finally went to service center and found that there was some dirt in my speaker, which i could not remove manually, hence the volume was low.

They cleaned it and my volume is as clear as new now.

Thank you for your help. I took off my new screen protector and wow, now I can hear my incoming calls again. Perfect...

Yeah. Got my Pro Max today and of course got a decent case and shield. I started messing with things (new Apple owner) so I thought I had messed up somewhere silly because I could barely hear anybody. Ohhhhhh it was silly, alright.

I put the shield on the wrong way, notch on the bottom. So in this case the issue was the lousy interface between my phone screen and my chair.

There are two reasons to this:

1) Your Phone is new and you have not removed the plastic cover

2) Some dirt in your speaker, get it removed by Apple support Store (ALab) or try yourself if you dont have access to ALab.

This is an absolute god send , I thought my phone was broken and was so annoyed , took the plastic off and worked fine !

Wow!! Thanks for the suggestion. I was waiting to get a screen guard before removing the plastic cover and I went crazy trying to figure out why the incoming volume was soooooo low. Finally I read your reply and lo I could hear loud n clear!!!!
