Deleting Multiple Images in imessage

In iOS 13. Holding down on a photo within a text message no longer gives you the option of “more” to delete multiple images. Major flaw unless I am missing something?

Again, nothing changed about this. You’ve always been able to select multiple texts and attachments for deletion from the texting screen. We are talking about when you press the i in the upper right corner, then see all photos, where you see all your thumbnails. This is the screen where they took away the functionality of being able to select multiple photos for deletion or for saving to your camera roll. You now have to press each photo individually and then select delete from the drop-down menu. It’s truly aggravating and counterintuitive. My point earlier about Apple trying to draw us into purchasing larger iCloud storage plans is directly related to this because I sometimes need to delete the three minute long videos that people send me without having to scroll back through my text messages to 2016 which takes a very long time to let all the messages load. I have also had issues on this screen where I press delete but the photo does not actually delete. See attached photo for the screen I’m talking about.

We aren’t talking about the photos app. We are talking about the panel of thumbnail photos pulled up after pressing “i” under your iMessage text conversation.

There are a myriad of problems with iOS 13.1.3 but let’s stay on top of this one. 👍🏻

I understand. I never deleted text message photos using that, but I do that you now have to delete them one at a time.

I definitely already submitted this on Apple feedback before I posted here. I recommend everybody use Apple feedback often so that they know when we have problems. They really do read those things and definitely worth taking the time to make issues known.

Sorry you don't feel what I provided is helpful. I have nothing to do with iOS or how Apple has changed anything. If you don't like what they've done, don't be critical of me, tell Apple what you think using the link I provided above.

that does 0 to respond to the question/complaint. Pre iOS 13, you could go into a message, tap the 'i' and go into the attachments from that text thread and had the ability to tap on multiple pics/gifs and then choose to delete all the ones you've tapped. now you have to tap each one individually to delete.

Again, you must assume I have ANYTHING to do with iOS. No one here works for Apple. This is a user to user ONLY forum.

Telling me you don't like something, get's you nothing. Complain to Apple, not me. All I can do is tell you what is available. If you don't like it, that's fine. But I'm not responsible for iOS functionality, so tell Apple using the link I provided above.

Ok—that remains as it was before, but having to do this by scrolling through tons of pages is even more time consuming than deleting one by one in the all photos view.

I don’t get it Apple, WHY make an upgrade that takes more of our time??? If it’s to push us to pay for iCloud storage, well that’s just rotten.

Yes. But usually the changes are an adjustment to get used to, but not in this way, removing badly needed functionality.

I wish Apple gave a crap about what their customers need, want, and care about, seems like there is no way to give them feedback in any meaningful or collective way.
