Deleting Multiple Images in imessage

Hi! When iOS 13 came out it took that function away from deleting multiple photos using the info choice next to the person’s name you are texting with. But after you update to iOS 13.2.3 you can now go to info , but you have to go down to “see all photos” , choose that, and “select” will come up in right hand corner so you can select all the photos or choose screenshots you want to delete at one time. But you have to update to 13.2.3. Try that. Check your current software and make sure it’s 13.2.3. Good luck.

My issue they still have, is some photos will NOT delete!!! Something is still wrong almost 3 months later!!!!

Mine do, as well. I have tried deleting several different ways as mentioned in the thread; and just updated to the latest apple update tonight. The pictures will not delete, or they return. Some were taken on "live" setting (have disabled) and show up as movies, when they are really just pictures. This is very odd, as several pictures were taken on Live (with a 10 second delay) of different scenes at different times of different subjects , but only certain ones won't delete. All I can think of--and I don't want to do this--is delete contacts completely (and all conversations/pictures etc) and then add them in again. I hope Apple fixes this. I DO NOT back up to itunes of the cloud.

I’ve had this same issue. iOS 13 just made my phone worse honestly. It glitches more and lost features like the one. I’ve posted a few issues I’ve had hoping apple with fix it.

Settings>General>iPhone Storage>Scroll down to messages icon> remove large attachments

I understand. Until the most recent update, you couldn't delete any photos from that view.

They really want their user to suffer deleting all those pictures one by one on iMessages. The other option is to buy their iCloud service to avoid storage issue.

yes they do. It’s not the only issue I have with the new ios. I have the storage I just want the images cleaned out.

Same issue here. This is seriously unfriendly move from Apple to by storage service. Please change it back!!

big regret updating my iOS today. Not impressed with not being to delete multiple pics at a time from the info section of a chat. Also hate the new email feel.

Virtually nothing changed with email in iOS 13 and I posted above that you CAN delete multiple photos in a text message.

You're welcome. We'll all get used to the new way to do things, until the next major iOS release, then people will lament the next round of changes. Happens every year. LOL

That's odd. Not one photo I've deleted from a text message have come back on my iPhone.

This is fine for messages what about photos? You used to be able to view all photos, select one or MORE, then delete. Not any more. I downloaded iOS 13.1.3, same problem! Help!
