iphone 11 pro max crashing

Since 10/2/19 i have encounter a bug where my iphone 11 pro max is crashing. The phone will randomly shut down and restart it self. I could be watching youtube or doing anything on any app and the phone will shut down and restart, even on full charge. At one instance it did that multiple times in a row. Every time it would restart i would add my passcode and get on home screen and it would crash again. It just did that today too. I am currently on the latest update 13.1.2. Anybody else have the same problem?

I just rec’d a new iPhone 11 Pro Max 2 days ago. After charging (came with zero charge) and backing up from ICloud, it began to just shut down. I’d put the phone down and pick it up to a black screen. Would have to press the button and apple logo would appear and password due to restart was required. Went through apple support and after HOURs of effort including updating iTunes, and doing the update through iTunes, the problem persisted. I was told it must be SW related and it was suggested I set up as a new phone. Reluctantly I tried this and after about 7-8 hours where I slowly MANUALLY reset up and configured my phone , linked to my watch etc the problem resurfaced. The same exact issue and sometimes it would even turn itself on when I picked up the phone (no button press). So off to the apple store I went where the analytics showed multiple “panic” logs. They confirmed it was HW then and provided me a replacement for my 2 day old phone. Apparently the guy had never seen this on this phone but this thread has me wondering. So for those of you with this same issue - it’s not your case. It’s not your SW. And it’s not from copying the image from your old phone. Check the analytics log and look for files that say panic... apparently just a couple is not an issue but if there are several.... red flag. Problem will not just resolve itself.

Just wanted to join in and let everyone know that nothing has changed. It is 1/21/2020 and I got my phone about two weeks ago, but the problems that everyone is speaking of here are happening to me ALOT. My phone probably crashes over ten time a day. I cant listen to music without it freezing and crashing, my phone calls cause my it to turn off, and I spent too much for this to happen lol.

Even after doing this I was only given a replacement phone that was better. The same constant and random rebooting issues continue. Since mu work schedule limits my ability to go back to Apple I have not been able to return and demand a full refund. Since my replacement phone was issued to me I have prevented all of my associates from getting the Pro Max and they have all migrated to Samsung.

Bought IPhone 11 Pro Max (1 for husband, 1for me) in April 2020. Phones started shutting down intermittently (both of them). Tech support ordered new phones for both of us. Same problem. Tech did not diagnose any problem. We are on our 3rd new set of new phones. Still having problem. Tech has no solution. Did hard resets, resetting to factory settings, deleting and reinstalling apps. Was told problem did not have a link to internet problems/high usage due to quarantine. Operating systems Up to date on all both phones. These are all brand new phones!!! If I didn’t love IPhone so much I would switch! By the way, our New IPad has none of these problems. Apple needs to find a fix quick! Anyone out there with a solution?

This didn’t help with mine at all. I’ve restarted the phone multiple times, bought an entirely new SIM card, the phone prior to this replacement had no issues regarding this whatsoever. And I’ve erased all of the data on it. Never had one single issue. A phone as new as the 11 Pro Max shouldn’t be having these issues. I don’t know what the problem is. I’m about ready to downgrade from it though. It’s getting ridiculous.
