I bought a Tzumi Hyper Charge 10 W wireless charging pad. Nothing is happening when I place the phone on the pad, even when I take my phone out of the case. iPhone is an XS. Charger does light up red, but doesn't charge.

I bought a wireless charger yesterday for my iPhone XS. It is a Tzumi Hyper Charge Wireless Charging Pad, 2 pack 10W fast charger. Supposed to work with my phone. I've plugged both in, both show a red light in the front which then goes out. When I place my phone on it (and it doesn't matter which way I position it), nothing happens. I've tried taking the phone out of its case - still no charging. Tried the same with my son's XR. Still nothing happens. Any ideas besides returning to Best Buy?
