While FaceTiming using my new AT&T iPhone 11, the phone disconnects from my home WiFi during the FaceTime, then reconnect as soon as I end the FaceTime. All software is up to date as of this posting.

I am also having this issue. I call my wife and kids every morning and I’m on Wi-Fi or standing next to a Wi-Fi access point and it won’t show connection to Wi-Fi during the call and the picture is very choppy (my wife is also on Wi-Fi (very strong Wi-Fi at home)) this is a huge problem and needs to be fixed. Are you “APPLE” seeing this issue in testing?? Please help us.
its a known bug, hasn’t been fixed. Why so defensive? As soon as someone from Apple replies that they are working on it, then we can stop talking about it.
He’s probably been in this thread for some time and is just over the situation which is understandable.
Not defensive, but going on with it , will also solve nothing.
There is an update available. Made available last week, 13.4.1. Mentions a FaceTime fix. Hopefully this is the fix for this thread.

Surely they realise FaceTime/iMessage is the #1 reason customers remain in the Apple eco-system and put priority to this accordingly!
now on 13.4.1 and had this issue last night, ended up turning of my Mobile Data and miraculously WiFi stayed perfectly connected for the next 1 1/2 hours of my FaceTime Audio call.
I found turning of WiFi assist worked for me, I stay connected to WiFi now during FaceTime. My phone is an iPone 7Plus, latest iOS (13.4.1)
Here to report that the latest update to iOS 13.5 hasn’t worked on my iPhone 11. Still switching from WiFi to LTE, still a terrible experience on FaceTime.
Same with me! Constantly disconnecting from wifi onto LTE. ANNOYING!!! 🤬

We need a ton of users to Post this thread on Apples twitter Or Facebook. I’m sure we will get a response. This is getting ridiculous!
Same issue! I updated the phone to 13.5.1. I still lost Wifi while facetiming.
And it’s 2020 I’m still having issues with my iPhone. I’m still optimistic that Apple will fix this soon!
Expect a fix MAYBE by the end of 2020
I have a old iPhone 6+ and I never been disconnected from FaceTime yet and my iPhone is update to iOS 12.4.7 now.
