While FaceTiming using my new AT&T iPhone 11, the phone disconnects from my home WiFi during the FaceTime, then reconnect as soon as I end the FaceTime. All software is up to date as of this posting.

You tried ”toggle (off and back on again) the ‘Set Automatically’ switch in Settings > General > Date & Time?
This only assuaged the issue temporarily for me, not a permanent fix.
same thing still happens to me very annoying as i have bad cell service at my house so i can’t use normal calls...
This is one of Apple’s core applications. Cannot believe this is still not fixed! I have been facing this issue multiple times a day and it is really frustrating!! Apple, what is the ETA here???

No there is not a resolution - Apple haven't acknowledged it's even an issue, long way off any resolution.
Same problem here on iPhone X using iOS 14.4.
Hi! What if I need to turn on my bluetooth to use my airpods while I am using facetime? I can’t use it right now because of this bug. Hope it gets fixed, thank you!

If your Wi-Fi calling’s off, I think that’s the problem.
Go to cellular in the setting and switch off the wifi asist . It worked for me . Good luck guys
