Can I write annotations in the new file app for PDFs like i did in IOS?
I loved reading my literature for university on the ipad while i scrolled with a finger and made annotations using the pencil with the PDF on fullscreen, without any kind of UI. That's about 50% of what i was doing with the ipad and it was perfect as it was. However, that doesn't work anymore. Whenever i use the pencil, i get all the user interface, limiting the space on 3 sides of the screen, which gets in the way of writing annotations quite often. Even worse, i can't scroll with a finger anymore, i have to use two fingers, because using one finger just draws a line. Using two fingers is uncomfortable and i often end up drawing instead. Is there a way to use it as it worked before? Notes has an option to draw only with the pencil. This may seem like a minor thing, but since i read about 2 or 3 scientific articles every day on the ipad, it has a quite destructive impact on my workflow.
Also i don't understand the changes. The pencil was perfectly comfortable to use, and it still is perfect in the Notes app. Why not in files?
I don't like to use other apps for annotations because they usually have a huge menu bar and need to export the file afterwards manually, while the Files app just saves everything and updates the original file automatically.
