I downloaded the latest iTunes version; it won't recognize my phone because some system driver is missing. What do I do? Why does it do this?

I downloaded the latest iTuners version (from Microsoft, of all places--weird)--but it says the program doesn't have my iphone systems software, and that I'm supposed to update it somewhere. What the heck?

hey, I had the same problem you need to go into devices find the iPhone, click update driver. have a look at this link.
