iMessage Sign in Trouble - Two Step Authentication

The two step authentication seems to be getting in the way of my sign in.


When I try to connect my iCloud to iMessage, I get a notice of a verification code needed, and get the code on my phone. After I hit okay on that window however, there is no where to put the code. It's a vicious loop.

There seems to be a disconnect here that I can't solve.

If you see a password box, enter the password (ABC) followed by the code (123) or ABC123 (no spaces).
