sharing a chart from numbers (version 6.2) to pages (version 8.2)

Hi all,

Please forgive my question if it seems a bit ignorant. But I trying to get familiar with Mac and its applications but I've stumbled upon a hurdle.

I am trying to copy a 2D pie chart from numbers 6.2 to pages 8.2. The copying is fine but when I change the data in my numbers sheet it won't change in my pages sheet.

I have followed the instructions shown in the macmosts video but I don't get the refresh button when I right click on the pie chart in pages. This is probably due to having different numbers and pages versions (the video is from 2013) but I am not sure.

Could anybody help me please?
