Screenshot crops

Have you restarted your phone since this started happening?

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If restarting didn't correct the issue then we recommend reinstalling the update using iTunes on a computer. The article below will help you through the process.

I’m having the same issue across iPad and iPhone and it’s extremely frustrating. I think it is somehow related to timing of the crop in the screenshot preview; if you wait at every. single. step. and take a good amount of time doing it slowly, it works fairly reliably but this is way too easy to forget and have fail.

Same for me, iPhone X with 13.2.1 and then also 13.2.2, among a myriad of unrelated other issues and oddities, such as:

When doing a screenshot the workspace is now tiny. Trying to precisely mark up an object is a pain because the screenshot viewable area is now about 3/5 of the screen instead of full screen. Completely idiotic.

When viewing videos and moving to the next video to watch it with the drag feature, such as in slow mo clips you have to do extra taps to get it, and if you want to customize the start and stop of the slow mo position the video frame jumps when selecting it and it’s complete guesswork if you selected the right frame and you have to keep doing trial and error until you like it. Whereas before it was precise and you knew the section of the video you were stopping at.

I use ios 13.3 on iphone7.

I took a screenshot - cropped it and saved it to photos. I see that the cropped screenshot is saved intact.

You might want to try and update your OS and check if the issue still persists.

When you screen crop then click on the picture and click share and click copy photo and now click save screenshot and then go to photo apps on your iOS device and look for that photo it should be there

thanks so much for putting this in a more articulate form. i’ve been having this problem for about a few months now and i’m just noticing the pattern today. this is so frustrating especially when it comes to uploading pictures to the internet. APPLE please fix this issue moving foward with this new year!!!!!

the same issue. iPhone 11 pro max. iOS 13.1.3

I’m having the exact same issue since upgrading to iOS 13. Soooooo frustrating!!!!!!! They need to patch this soon
