Can't establish a wifi connection to transfer photos from Sony a6000 to iphone after update.

Hello. I recently updated my iphone 7 to version 13.1.2. After this update, I can no longer establish a wifi connection to transfer my photos from my Sony a6000 into the Imaging Edge Mobile app on my iphone. I never had any problems previous to this update. I've tried various ways to try to fix the problem - turning my phone on and off, uninstalling and reinstalling the app... hopefully someone may have more suggestions - thank you!

I continued my search and found this explanation which when followed step by step solved my problem. Including it below to help others:

To get the QR code on phone - using my a6000 as example:

1.make sure you have sony account, if not go register for one

2.select menu, open application list,

3.select your smart remote control, it should display a QR code,

if not then the software is out of date continue to step 4, else skip to step 7

4.go back to application list, select play memories camera app

5.connect device to wifi if you have not yet

6.select the ALL tab to see all apps, select and update Smart Remote Control

Sign into sony account is require, after sign in to sony account continue to next step

7.app will install then run and QR code scan will be display

now you can just open the Smart Remote Control app from Application list to show QR

8.open your play memory phone app and scan the code
